On June 26th, Ascent Integrated Tech proudly marked a significant milestone by successfully deploying our location tracking system with the Lincoln Fire Department. This deployment is particularly noteworthy as it represents our first integration with the Team Awareness Kit (TAK), the most widely adopted COP in the world, utilized by the Department of Defense.
The deployment in Lincoln went well, with firefighters pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of the technology. While TAK is a new concept for many, the department has staff with military experience who will help ramp up familiarization. Significant training will be invested before putting the platform into full service to ensure seamless integration and operation.
