On September 23, 2024, the Maywood Fire Department enhanced their capabilities with the addition of Ascent Integrated Tech’s advanced location tracking technology. Led by Chief Craig Bronaugh, the department anticipates that this technology will improve safety and efficiency for their teams.
With a proud tradition of service and recent participation in a Mutual Aid Response system covering Chicago’s western suburbs, Maywood Fire Department includes 40 sworn personnel, supported by two civilian staff, and operates a fleet of 11 emergency vehicles. The department runs from two stations, with Station 1 housing their main offices, fire prevention, inspection, and training facilities.
